• Performing surgeries, such as cystoscopies, prostatectomies, and nephrectomies
• Prescribing medications to treat certain conditions
• Providing patient education and counseling regarding their condition and preventative measures
• Referring patients to specialists, such as oncologists and fertility specialists
Qualifications:
• Medical degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of a three-year urology residency program
• Active medical license
• Board certification from the American Board of Urology
• Advanced knowledge of urological procedures and treatments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
